Sourdough and the Savior

I recently read this book and it was so engaging.
The author shared her journey on learning to make sourdough and related it to navigating the hard things we all face in life.

You can't let sourdough just sit and not feed it and hope that
your bread will be wonderful; creating a beautiful loaf of bread takes work and commitment...  She then shared some times in her life when she needed to thoughtfully feed and
nurture her relationship with her Savior to have it be a flourishing relationship.

There was so much about this book that just felt so
comfortable, maybe because all of us have been in
situations where we weren't quite sure of 'what's next'.

I took a sourdough class and came home knowing that
I would never try it!  After reading this book, and gaining more helpful insights of this craft, I might embark on the sourdough frenzy and see what it's all about!

As I read this book, I also felt deeply that it was time to be more purposeful in my relationship with my Savior.  She gave some wonderful, hard-earned insights on how to do that.

This book was an easy read.  It was comfortable.  I had a hard time putting it down.

I give it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
