College Days

I've been redoing my old college scrapbooks. It's fun to look back and remember good times and good friends that all helped to shape my life 'way back when'! I used the Close To My Heart paper pack Twitterpated and the 'Thumbnails' layout from the CTMH Imagine scrapbooking layout book.

Bedrooms Redone

Millie's room - new paint, new bedspread. Still need to get the decorative pillow done, but the fabric I will use is laying on the sham! Made the valance and the chair cover from fabric I already had!

Flooding on the Missouri

These are the same rocks that Millie is sitting on in the picture below. The river was probably a little higher after this picture was taken.

Millie surprised us with a few days at home. The only thing that would have made this absolutely perfect - would have been to have Amanda and Dustin here also. It was the simple things that Millie wanted to do. Go to Nodaway Island and watch the river, go on the river walk, Krug Park, Mini Golfing, Baskin Robbins.....and just spending time together as a family. Of course we grilled a steak and spent late nights up talking. It doesn't get any easier to tell them goodbye when they leave.
